This forum is a tool at the disposal of the Task Force in charge of developing the proposal on regional coordination mechanism and the consultant who is assisting with the same. It is intended to allow parties to debate on the theme and to collect ideas on how regional coordination for the implementation of the Convention could be shaped in the future. At this stage, ideas expressed by parties in the forum will be considered as part of a “virtual brainstorming”. Parties will have the opportunity to officially express their views once the Task Force has sent them the first draft proposal for comments.
